A collection of the first Beech Staggerwing aircraft.
So far, we have no correct answers. Interesting that this mystery plane would stump so many experts here….
Is it a Handly Page from Canada?
The numbering on the aeroplanes looks like WW1 Italian and the style of the uniforms has a certain Latin flair! Am I getting close?
I give up! what’s the answer?

The aircraft is a Dorand AR-1. I would guess the personnel are Italian.
Dorand AR-1, I agree. I think it is in Serbian service.
