Valero Doval is an illustrator trained and based in Spain. His style is an enlightening mix of illustration and collage filled with color, wit and style. He uses a combination of vintage imagery, nature and delicate handwork to produce artwork full of rich narrative.
Valero has been commissioned by clients such as The New York Times, Kenzo, Wallpaper*, Panasonic and Timberland. His work has been exhibited across Europe, USA and Canada.
After his graduation in Fine Arts in 2002 he decided to move from his native Spain to London. He has received a Creative Futures Awards from Creative Review Magazine in 2005 and a 3×3 Magazine Award in 2008.
In 2010, he returned to Spain to carry on with his world of images, launching the Aerofauna series of avian/aviation-inspired artwork.
